Whether you're competitive or casual, the Global Smash Federation has a place for you. Our
system lets you set up your own matches, ranked or unranked, with whatever rules you want
(if the other player agrees to them, of course). Also, our referees make sure that every ranked
match is played fairly. Play a lot of matches, become #1, and you may get some nice prizes!
Besides the individual matches, the Global Smash Federation also hosts themed tournaments.
These tournaments have special rules and offer great prizes (and some other surprises). Don't
miss a single one!
More than anything, though, the GSF is about community. That's why we have our forums.
Here, members can talk about pretty much anything, offer feedback on the site, and set up
their matches.

GSF is now accepting donations! A quick look at our Tournaments page will tell you that GSF
isn't frugal with the prizes it offers its members. However, as you may have guessed, this puts
a bit of strain on our pocketbooks. So if you're feeling generous, help us out! Remember that
this is a donation -- you will never have to pay to join or play at GSF. (I will say that donors
may get some nice privileges, though. Big things are in the works!)

| Current Tournament Starship Troopas April 4, 2009 Anyone who clings to the historically untrue — and thoroughly immoral — doctrine that "violence never solves anything" I would advise to conjure up the ghosts of Ganondorf and of the Link and let them debate it. The ghost of Bowser could referee, and the jury might well be the Yoshi, the Pikachu, and the Jigglypuff. Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst.
